Fab’s first freestyle on DJ clue’s “Monday Night Mixtape” in 1998. This was actually Fab’s audition for Clue. Nore killed this also.

Been listening to nothing but reggae music lately!
——————————————————————————————-
I was quickly scrolling past and saw this as Yucky Duck, Daytona’s thing.
The phrase “Yucky Duck” takes me back about 7 months ago. I was in a car with Griff and Daytona driving to Jersey for Rutgersfest, T-Pain was playing in the car and the girl I was seeing at the time called me from London. I was so engrossed in conversation with this girl that I didn’t notice Daytona jack his iPod into the stereo and start playing his beats.
After the conversation with the girl, my attention was immediately diverted back to the music and inexplicably the sounds emanating from the speakers made me particularly angry.
I began to shout “YO WHAT THE F*** IS THIS S*** MAN…”. I was about to continue “…YOU NEED TO TURN THIS S*** OFF NOW!”, but mid-sentence it suddenly clicked that Daytona had in fact produced these beats. To preserve Daytona’s feelings, I felt compelled to continue talking with the same angry volume and aggressive inflection as if I was having a normal conversation and not just fully going in on Daytona’s joint. SMH.
“OH YEA, MY FAULT, THIS IS THAT ‘YELLOW FLOWERS’ JOINT YOU MADE YESTERDAY. I WAS UPSTAIRS, I HEARD YOU MAKING IT. WORD.”
Daytona looked mad confused. I was trying my hardest not to laugh, but I looked at Griff and he was trying not to burst out laughing. At this point I was forced to looked out of the window.
Shout out to Evan Rogers who will no doubt remember this story!

This is what we listened to every night, on this vehicle while traveling from state to state, on tour this summer with Jazmine Sullivan. Our driver, Mike Diddy, would play it and sing along aloud with the curtains closed. Mike Diddy is a real country dude from Mobile, Alabama, same place my mother was born and raised.

Good times.
